Ribbon Candy
Here is a bit more controlled version of a raggedy edged quilt. These blocks couldn’t be
simpler. Offer it as a class in January as a way to sell lingering Christmas fabric, “get that
Christmas quilt done that you didn’t have time for before the holidays.” This quilt could
also be done in pastels for spring or earth tone flannels for fall. Fun and Fast.

Rachel’s Fancy
A great teaching quilt!! Teach your favorite method of quarter square triangles or
Use mine. The “dog ear” block is also a great teaching opportunity. Layout and
fabric selection are key. This quilt offers wonderful opportunities for embroidery or
try your hand at a small medallion. It also translates well as a photo memory
quilt, using the “dog ear” blocks as the photo blocks.

Reindeer School
Have everyone together for the holidays? Get their hand and foot prints and make this very fun family heirloom quilt. What a wonderful way to remember just how little they were or just how big they’ve become. Don’t do reindeer? How about adding ears, and making them into moose. These critters can be done as a quilt as large as you need or a single pillow for that first grandchild. Make sure it gets a label. This is a real keeper.

Zoë’s 4 Patch & 9
This pattern is phenomenal!!!! Using traditional blocks and easy construction techniques this quilt is perfect for beginners. A new quilter can’t go wrong because the fabrics are used repeatedly creating a unified look. Each quilt reflects the personality of the maker. No angst for the inexperienced and great fun for those of us with wonderful collections. If you love the fabric to begin with, you’ll love the finished quilt. It’s fat-quarter friendly and kits fly out the door.
